Move with us – support a new creation | Stuttgart

As many of you know, the independent art scene in Stuttgart is currently facing major funding cuts. For freelance dance makers, this means finding new ways to sustain artistic work and create alternative structures of support.

With this in mind, choreographer Smadar goshen is dedicating an entire weekend workshop to supporting my upcoming dance production, which is set to premiere at Theater RAMPE in November 2026.

Throughout the weekend, she will share different movement practices such as –
Gaga/people classes, physical research, guided improvisation, and more.
Additionally, she will also open a window into the research behind the new creation, offering you a behind-the-scenes glimpse into a dance piece while it is still taking shape.

All proceeds will go directly towards the production and help cover the fees of the artistic team, supporting the work of local and national artists. Joining the workshop, you become part of the creation process both through physical experience and through supporting us.
