Teaching Tour in Sweden | 14–30 October 2026

This October, choreographer and movement researcher Smadar Goshen will embark on a two-week teaching tour in Sweden, leading professional classes and movement research with the dancers of the Göteborg Opera Dance Companyand Skånes Dansteater.

From 14–30 October 2026, the residency will focus on Goshen’s distinctive movement language, inviting dancers to deepen their physical awareness, expand their creative range, and explore new possibilities for expression through movement. The classes combine technical precision with improvisation, encouraging curiosity, presence, and embodied decision-making.

Collaborating with two of Scandinavia’s leading contemporary dance institutions marks another step in the ongoing international development of Goshen’s artistic practice and pedagogical work. The teaching tour continues her commitment to sharing movement as a space for research, dialogue, and artistic exchange across diverse dance communities.
